Camp del Corazon is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides year-round experiential opportunities for children faced with the challenges of growing up and living with heart disease. We provide a residential summer camp experience for children ages 7-17 as well as programs that offer opportunities for growth, education and support for children, young adults and the families who are living with heart disease.

Auction Items
Camp is always looking for items to be used in the various events (golf tournament, galas, auctions, etc.) If you have any items or certificates that would be appropriate for our silent or live auctions, please contact Ronya Waters in the camp office. Great items include: event tickets; airline miles; certificates to restaurants; handmade items; sports related items; entertainment related items.

Sign up for Ralph's Community Giving
Ralphs began a new program as of September 1, 20012 and all Rewards Customers MUST re-register, even if you had previously designated camp as your beneficiary.

If you are already a Ralph’s Shopper, you just need to designate Camp del Corazon as your chosen charity.  By doing so, every time you shop and swipe your Club Card, Camp del Corazon will receive between 1%-4% of your total bill as a donation!  This is absolutely free to you!

Here’s how:
Be sure to have your Ralphs Club Card(s) available and register your card with our organization by following the easy online directions.  (If you do not have a Ralphs Club Card, they are available at the customer service desk at any Ralphs Grocery Store)

  • Go to:  www.ralphs.com, click on Sign In/Register and follow the instructions.  A password and email address are required for this website. 
  • Once you have completed your information and Rewards number, you will receive an email noting that your account has been activated.
  • You must then scroll down to “Edit Community Contribution” Link and input “Camp del Corazon”.

Donate your Time
The Camp Office periodically needs help (in North Hollywood) for mailings; data basing; getting everything ready for camp; and event committees.

eScrip
We are participating in a powerful fundraising opportunity with Vons, Pavilions and many other retailers powered by eScrip.   eScrip and over 150 retailers have created a system that rewards loyalty by contributing a percentage of purchases to our camp. BUT YOU NEED TO SIGN UP to be part of the program. You can register your grocery store club cards and/or your debit card if you like.  To do so, go to the website:  www.escrip.com and register today!  Our group ID is:  500001453.

United Way
If you are interested in making a donation thru the United Way, contact your human resources representative about facilitating the donation thru your company or contact your local United Way office. You will need to provide Camp del Corazon’s tax id #: 95-4599670

Matching Gifts Program
Double or even triple your gift to Camp del Corazon by having your employer match your contribution! Many companies have a 3 to 1 or 2 to 1 matching program (example: your gift of $100 could be a $300 gift to Camp!). Check with your human resources department about your corporate matching gift program.
