CAMP VOLUNTEER TRAINING

Staff Training Day - MANDATORY

August 9, 2025 - 8:00am - 5:00pm

Please read everything below and follow instructions to complete your pre-staff day training materials by July 15, 2025!

Abuse Prevention/Mandated Reporter Training
- All staff must complete annual Abuse Prevention training on abuse and neglect identification and reporting, as provided by https://mandatedreporterca.com
- Please upload the certificate to your CampDoc Application
- All staff must also complete supplemental reading on grooming here: https://www.icmec.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Behaviors-of-Sexual-Predators-Grooming.pdf - please read this pdf and confirm in your CampDoc application.

Sexual Harassment Training
- Please complete the training at the following link: https://calcivilrights.ca.gov/shpt/
- Please upload the certificate to your CampDoc Application
  - If you are a Supervisor at camp (Activity Lead, Medical Leadership Team member or Program Leadership Team member, please complete the Supervisory training (2 hours). If you are NOT a Supervisor at camp, please complete the Nonsupervisory training (1 hour). Yes, this is a yearly requirement.

LiveScan Background Check
- Please download this form if you are a first year volunteer and bring it, filled out, to your LiveScan Date (Staff Day - August 9th, 2025)
- Once you are LiveScanned, you will not need to be Scanned again until 5 years have passed.

Covid Policies (TBD)
- Our 2025 Covid-19 Policies will be created based on recommendations from the CDC, ACA and our robust Medical Leadership Team. We will share these policies with campers and volunteers when we get closer to camp.
