What is P.A.C.E. ? 

The "Progressive Adult Cardiac Experience" (P.A.C.E.) Program, is designed for young adults with heart disease, ages 18-25 who are looking to…

  • Create a support network with people who face similar challenges in their lives. 

  • Practice leadership skills that will help you make better life choices.

  • Build healthy lifestyle skills to support a healthy body and mind.

  • Enjoy fun and challenging new experiences! 


Annual Retreat- Our main program is an annual retreat over Memorial Day Weekend!

  • A glorious weekend filled with life and friendship! We welcome new members into the PACE community, hug old friends and leave with a sense of spirit and hope. Let's keep celebrating each other!

Other PACE Events 

  • P.A.C.E. is a year-round community. We have periodical group events, and participate in the Camp del Corazon Family Festival 5k.

Do I qualify?:

  • PACE Applicants must be individuals with CHD between the ages of 18 and 25.

  • PACE is an adult program. As such, participants are expected to be largely independent at PACE programs. We expect you are able to;

    • Communicate your emotional and physical needs  

    • Manage your own medications

    • Complete your own application for the retreat

Retreat 2023 

The PACE Retreat 2023 was held over Memorial Day weekend (May 26th - May 29th 2023)! We planned an in-person program at Camp Bob Waldorf.  

Stay up to date via emails and through social media @pace.cdc.


We hope to be together again in person at Camp Bob Waldorf in 2024! In the meantime, connect with us online for mid-year events! Email us anytime with questions!
